Terms & Conditions

    These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CIMWorks Wire EDM CAM software ("Software"), an add-in for SOLIDWORKS, provided by CIMTechnology, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

    1. The Software is installed locally on your computer and operates as an add-in within SOLIDWORKS.

    2. A valid subscription is required to activate and use the Software.

    3. The license is tied to a specific computer upon activation and cannot be transferred without prior authorization.

    4. The Software requires a Windows operating system and will not function on other platforms.

    5. Each subscription is intended for a single machine. Excessive or fraudulent reactivations may result in account suspension or termination.

  • You may not:

    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software.

    • Resell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the Software.

    • Bypass licensing mechanisms or share access credentials.

    • Use the Software for unlawful purposes.

    1. The Software is licensed on a subscription basis (monthly or annual).

    2. Licenses are tied to a specific computer upon activation.

    3. You must ensure your billing details remain accurate.

    4. Failure to pay for a renewal may result in suspension of access.

    5. Billing and payments are processed using Paddle. To contact Paddle, visit Paddle.net.

    1. Updates and bug fixes are included as part of your active subscription.

    2. Major feature upgrades may be introduced at the Company’s discretion.

    1. The Software and all associated materials remain the intellectual property of CIMTechnology, LLC.

    2. Your CAD models and data remain your property.

  • The Software is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

    1. We are not liable for any loss of business, profits, or data due to Software use or inability to use.

    2. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.

    1. We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms.

    2. Upon termination, you must uninstall and cease using the Software.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA.

  • By using the Software, you also agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs software licensing, usage restrictions, and intellectual property rights. In case of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the EULA, the EULA takes precedence regarding software usage.

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or otherwise providing notice. Your continued use of the Software after such changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

  • By using the Software, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under the laws of your jurisdiction).

    1. The Software depends on SOLIDWORKS and the Windows operating system.

    2. We are not responsible for errors, interruptions, or any issues arising from third-party components (such as SOLIDWORKS, Windows, or Paddle).

    3. Any changes made by these third-party providers that affect the functionality or availability of the Software are beyond our control.

    1. You are responsible for maintaining the necessary hardware and SOLIDWORKS license(s) to run the Software.

    2. You must take appropriate measures to back up and protect your CAD models and any other data used with the Software.

    3. You agree to use the Software in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CIMTechnology, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

    1. Your use or misuse of the Software;

    2. Your violation of these Terms; or

    3. Your violation of any rights of a third party.

    1. We may collect and process certain personal data in connection with your subscription and use of the Software (e.g., billing details).

    2. Any personal data is handled according to our [Privacy Policy] and applicable data protection laws.

    3. Payment processing is conducted through Paddle, which has its own privacy and data protection policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

    1. These Terms & Conditions, along with the EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and CIMTechnology, LLC regarding the Software.

    2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

    3. No waiver of any provision by us shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that provision or any other provision.
